Common questions
How can I get these services?
If you meet the eligibility requirements, contact My Aged Care or the NDIS. They will place you on their portals, and we can then get your details and take it from there.
When will I receive a home care service?
Times of service will be discussed with you to best suit your needs. We will try to meet your expectations and needs. Sometimes service times may change depending on staff availability.
Will I have to pay?
A contribution for our services will be discussed with you at the time of your assessment.
Who gets priority for home care?
Home care is for people who are older, frail or have a disability. Many people ask for home care, but priority goes to people who need help the most and can’t get help from family or friends, or can’t make other arrangements.
Can a family member or health worker contact you for me?
Yes. A family member, carer or health worker can call us or use the form on this page. [TO CONFIRM: confirm We Care accepts referrals this way]
